My story
I didn’t always plan to become a psychologist for people living abroad. In many ways, the path found me through my own experience of starting over again and again.
Over the past years I’ve lived across different countries, cultures, and time zones. Each move brought its own kind of expansion: new languages, people, landscapes, relationships.
But it also came with moments of heaviness. There were times when parts of me didn’t quite translate, when I felt half-present, half-adjusting.
And still, I love this life.
Living abroad has shaped me in ways I didn’t expect. It’s taught me how to sit with uncertainty, how to loosen the idea that everything must be figured out, and how to keep moving forward even when things feel unclear.
It’s meaningful, even when it’s complicated.
There were moments when I didn’t recognise myself, times I felt overwhelmed, disconnected, or doubting everything.
Through those experiences I learned something important:
Sometimes what people need most is simply a space where they don’t have to perform, explain everything perfectly, or hold it all together.
That’s what led me to this work.
Today I support people who are navigating anxiety, identity shifts, and emotional overwhelm while building a life abroad.
How do I work?
My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based way of understanding how thoughts, emotions, and behaviours influence one another.
In our sessions we look closely at what has been showing up in your inner world: the thoughts that appear, the emotions that follow, and the patterns that shape how you respond to them.
From there we begin to create space for new ways of relating to those experiences. Sometimes that involves practical tools. Sometimes it involves slowing things down enough to understand what your mind has been trying to manage on its own.
In our work together we move at a pace that respects where you are. There can be structure when it helps, and softness when it’s needed.
Sessions take place online, in English or Spanish.
My values:
There are a few things that guide the way I work.
Depth over performance
Therapy doesn’t ask you to show up as the “best version” of yourself. What matters here is honesty and space to explore what’s actually happening.
Curiosity over judgement
Questions, contradictions, uncertainty, and messy emotions all belong in the room.
Tools that fit real life
The strategies we explore are grounded in psychological research and shaped around the reality of your daily life.
Warmth and professionalism
Therapy should feel safe, respectful, and thoughtful, while still offering direction and meaningful reflection.
I know how vulnerable it can feel to reach out for support. If you’re reading this and thinking, “I don’t even know where I would start…” that’s okay. You don’t need to have everything explained perfectly. Sometimes the first step is simply allowing yourself a place to begin.
